Okes have the ideal opportunity to right the wrongs of last week’s defeat, a first ever league encounter with Maidenhead at the Showground.
Maid’s were most people’s tips for promotion this season; a good finish last term, links with Ealing Trailfinders and coaching staff that include the likes of England’s Will Greenwood. They currently sit in third place after last week’s narrow home win over Newbury. Oke meanwhile will be glad of home comforts after a disappointing show on the road last time out. Hopefully some of last week’s missing will be back on duty for this mouth-watering encounter. Both sides will look to impose themselves early, with little or no prior knowledge of each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Okes will seek to maintain their unbeaten home record this campaign and will surely be backed by a partisan and vociferous home support. Team news will be posted later this evening.
The super twos travel to Teignmouth this week whilst the legends/ Thirds have their maiden run out. Kicking off at 1 pm this could be your perfect rugby hors d’oeuvre before the biggie kicks off at 3 pm. Hopefully we’ll also be celebrating an England victory to boot.
Don’t miss out.. “Come On You Okes!”
