All roads lead to Polson this weekend, as the biggest local derby of the season looms on the horizon.
Oke travel to Launceston to take on the Cornish All Blacks on their own patch. In front of what is undoubtedly going to be a huge crowd, the Okes will look to stretch their winning run between these sides to three matches. Their hosts have turned a corner though with two much improved performances, culminating in a first victory of the campaign last time out at Newbury. Okes meanwhile continue to impress at home, unbeaten in fact with victories over three very strong outfits. However, their away form has not been so hot, despite performing well at times the maroon and ambers still seek their first away victory at level 5. This week would be the perfect occasion to break that duck.
Team news will appear here later, meanwhile at home the super twos and colts both take on Devonport Services with 2.30 Kos, the 2nds being the only side at home this weekend.
So after enjoying this Saturdays world cup quarter, why not cross the border and cheer on your local side to complete a rugby packed day…….”Come On You Okes!”
