The Okes return to home turf this Saturday as they play host to the Teigns. Okes will be glad for last week's break, plus a respite from their travels after two recent agonisingly narrow defeats on the road. The Okes know they could have turned those into two victories and will want to continue their good home record against a side they beat twice at home last season, once in the league and once in the cup.
The visitors always bring a combative front eight and conditions may dictate the pattern of play this weekend. The Teigns have also suffered recent narrow defeats as they look to escape the lower echelons of the SW1 table.
Oke team news will appear here later this evening, but player coach Martin Harrison- Browne has already dropped some clues in his pre match comments this week-
" After having a weekend off and a few boys getting back to fitness, training has been very good this week and the boys have all brought into the drills that I have introduced. I have aimed at specific drills in areas that what we have not been so good at recently.
Onto Teignmouth, Local derby, we need a victory need I say any more? Due to two straight loses I have made a couple of changes in the team, this doesn’t reflect personally on people, it's just I feel something needs to be done. . Hopefully a 5 pointer will get us back on track and looking good for upcoming Christmas break.."
So forget the internationals this weekend and get yourself along to the club to boost the boys with your loyal support please..
.. .. "Come On you Okes!"
