The maroon and ambers head north up the M5 yet again this weekend as they travel to take on a Thornbury side who are coming into a decent run of form. Much like the Okes, the Thorns are looking to their youth section to provide their future on the pitch. Last season saw the Okes victorious in both fixtures so the hosts will be looking for revenge this weekend.
Okes will want to erase the memories from last Saturday as they seek to wipe the slate clean with a reinvigorated performances to hopefully set the side of on another winning run. Team news will appear here later this evening, but there may be changes with many of last week's super twos side putting their hands up for selection.
Player Coach Martin Harrison -Browne was unable to play last weekend but shared his views on recent events-
" Everyone was hugely disappointed with the performance last week. We lacked decision making, experience and attitude. But still returned from a tricky away game with 2 points, which I suppose you would normally take. More unavailability this week is not helping, but training on Tuesday was very spirited after a discussion with the boys beforehand. I would love a result this weekend and hopefully the boys will be pumped for it."
The super twos host Newton Abbot at the Showground and the colts travel to Sidmouth also, so please , as always ,bring your loyal support to cheer on the boys ..
.. .. "Come On you Okes!"
