Rugby is Back This Weekend!
The off season has been one of change with the appointment of New Head Coach Martin Harrison-Browne, who has arrived from Newton Abbot.
Match Day 1 is fast approaching and he will take his Okehampton side to Clevedon. With both sides winning their corresponding home games last year.
Clevedon is expected to be a tough but enthralling encounter, for a young Oke's side looking to impress their new coach and who during the pre-season don't appear to have lost one bit of that "Okehampton Team Spirit " this has been very much recognised by Devon County Coach Jon Hill. Just ask his Exmouth players!
Clevedon will no doubt be looking to put the disappointment of losing a promotion playoff defeat to Newbury last season behind them and will be very much one of the sides looking to be promoted this year.
For large parts of a very exciting first season back in South West 1 in 2016/17 and and a team who also reached a Devon Cup Final, Okehampton will certainly be looking to start well on Saturday.
The guys will really appreciate all your support and it would be great to see more of the travelling Maroon & Amber in Clevedon this Saturday.
Come on you Okes!!
