The Okehampton PAD's Charity was set up to install Defibrillators in Okehampton. The first ones are already in place.

The charity also provides free training sessions in the use of the Defibrillators and in CPR, which is an essential to follow up to the use of a Defib. The training is delivered by Joe Rice, an Okehampton First Aid instructor.

A training session has been arranged at Okehampton RFC on Tuesday 2nd October 2018 7pm to 9pm. Anyone who would like to attend should call or text me on 07513006180 to book a place. Places are limited to 15 per session.

Please note - this is NOT a full First Aid training course that would provide certification. It is intended to fulfil the aims of the Okehampton PAD's charity to install Defibs and train members of the public in their use. To find out more about Okehampton PAD's search for Okepads on Facebook or through Google.

Full First Aid training courses will be arranged for club First Aiders in the near future, but in the meantime it would be great to have a full compliment from the club to attend this free session.
